Collabrative Projects:

Nina Mason Pulliam Legacy Scholars Evaluation

The Nina Mason Pulliam Legacy Scholarship program is dedicated to providing educational opportunities for individuals who would not normally receive traditional academic scholarships, and whose personal commitments and financial circumstances would preclude their attendance without substantial, long-term scholarship support.

Project SEAM

Project SEAM seeks to promote seamless student transitions between high school and college education by 'closing gaps' that exist between the secondary and post-secondary curricula in math, language arts, and the sciences. Phase I identified gaps and potential professional development opportunities. Phase II provides financial and logistical support for those opportunities.

Project SMART

The Indiana Schools SMART Partnership is a collaborative project to enhance the integration of math and science curriculum via interactive video distance learning (IVDL) with a local business partner in each of eleven school districts. The project's intent is to increase the proficiency outcomes in grades 6-8 by working with the business partner to provide authentic problem solving activities.

Project South Central Indiana Community Alliance to Promote Education (CAPE)
Portrait of Universities with Metropolitan Alliances (PUMA)

The Portrait of Universities with Metropolitan Alliances (PUMA) is one of several ongoing related efforts that seek to better articulate the contributions of urban and metropolitan universities to their communities.

Restructuring for Urban Student Success (RUSS)

Urban Universities Portfolio Project (UUPP)

The Urban Universities Portfolio Project (UUPP) was a collaboration among six urban public universities to develop prototypes of electronic institutional portfolios. The project, which took place from 1998-2001, was funded by the Pew Charitable Trusts and sponsored by the American Association for Higher Education (AAHE). While this home page is no longer being updated, the institutional portfolios initially developed through the project continue to evolve; you can link to the most current versions of the portfolios by visiting the project web site.
